- ChatGPT Plus is described with a message count per three hours; Claude Pro has no count at all, only a five-hour window and a weekly limit. A count is easier to plan around. A window is kinder to short bursts and harder on one very long session.
- Claude Pro lists Claude Code in the plan, and that coding tool spends the same allowance as chat. If you write code in the terminal, that is two tools for one price, and also two tools competing for one allowance.
- Claude Pro states an annual price ($17 a month). We have no annual price for Plus in a source we can cite.
- The Claude figures were read on the official page. The ChatGPT figures come from a third-party article, because the official page blocks automated reading, so check that side before you decide.
